Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Strong onshore flow and large seas will continue this afternoon in advance of a cold front. The front will enter the coastal waters after midnight tonight into the early Thursday morning hours. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms along the front. Moderate to strong offshore flow and large seas will occur behind the front through Thursday afternoon. There is a slight rain of light rain Friday and Friday night in response to a weak trough of low pressure along the coast. Winds and seas will subside by Saturday as the center of high pressure moves into south Texas. Onshore flow will become established again late Sunday into Monday.
